Absolutely poor support. I called Samsung Support was on the phone for 1hour 25mins no response. No one knew what this camera was all about. SO, please do not buy it. Poor reflection of a company that is so large. Save your time and unnecessary headach by not buying it.

Contrary to the ad, “works with any PC”, it works with Windows only. I bought one, which seemed to work OK until I tried to upload to my Mac. Nothing doing. The manual itself states, on p. 102– if I remember accurately, that it works only with Windows and a Mac can’t be used. I rated it “1″, not for the camera itself, but for Samsung’s unclear advertising. I returned it for credit, which Amazon has granted. I would assume that other models in this SMX- line also can’t be used with Mac.

This was purchased for my son for his “big” Christmas gift. It was defective. The battery did not charge. A DISASTER!

ADDRESS TO: ONTRAC CARRIER
Amazon pls. change your cheap shipping carrier their service is bad.They deliver the package according to shipping track but they didnt leave me any note on my door.I gave my Cellphone number to txt if they will going to deliver the package but they never txt me at that time when they deliver i have an appointment they should leave me a note that they attemp to deliver and will try again tommorow or even txt me on my phone.Honnestly ive been a loyal cutomer of amazon and this is my firstime to address my complain.I have no problem with UPS , USPS ,Fedex except this “ONTRAC” carrier their not ontrack with their customer.But after all thanks Amazon rhanks for not charging me on that Bad “ONTRAC” carrier. PS by the time im tryng to reoder that product its not on sale anymore so upset.

I bought this camera for the sole purpose of taping my band and putting videos of it on youtube, Much to my dismay, during the gig whenever the guitarist or bassist would move slightly one way or the other, the entire picture would lose focus and be blurry for several seconds. I ended up with a lot of useless footage by the end of the night. The next day tech support told me that the only way to avoid a blur screen was to shoot in a well lit area. (”Oh, so that basically allows me to record only 2% of the gigs I play now!”)
I had to return it for a refund the next day. Maybe if you’re into recording speeches or events in well lit places it’s good, but it’s not recommended for dimly lit events.
